Description:

a small but venomous snake, over a dozen different colour varieties occur in Costa Rica, this yellow version is called oropel

Habitat:

lowland rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this along a path at the La Selva Biological Station. It stayed in the same spot, at least during the day, for 3 days.
