I would say a Question Mark butterfly chrysalis. It must have been knocked down from wherever it was hanging. Hopefully it hatched ok.

I agree, looks like a chrysalis..Be careful not to remove a chrysalis from where it is hanging.

It's a very cool one!

Looks like a butterfly chrysalis. That pink tuft is probably the silk pad it used to attach itself to a surface.
