Bees

Description:

This beehive was in one of the ruins of Ayutthaya, Thailand. The bees don´t look to me like the typical Apis melifera, but I am not sure whether they are african bees? anyone can help me ID them?

Habitat:

Building walls.

hahaha.. its just that the Africanized bees are more defensive than European honey bees and are a hybrid strain of Apis mellifera derived from experiments by Warwick Estevam Kerr to cross European and African honey bees.

If they were Africans (Not that you can physically distinguish them) they would have been after you for 500 meters before they give up...
