Description:

Normally predominately found in Norfolk, there is a large breeding colony found in and around Attenborough nature reserve in Beeston, Nottingham. Dark ring around eyes, white underbelly with pale beak and legs. Rarely makes any sound.

Habitat:

Wetland, marsh, rivers and canals..

Thankyou, I love these birds and they're very new to me. I'd never seen one until a month or so again, but they live in the nature reserve next to my boat so I see the same mating couple every day :)
