Black Iguana

Ctenosaura similis

Description:

Gray all over with black bands on the tail. He is old enough to have completely lost his bright green juvenile color, but not old enough to have the black bands on the body with the head/neck area orange.

Habitat:

Sunning himself on the rocks on the beach in the early morning. The pretty blue ocean made a nice background for the photo :)
