Description:

It is a tailless, yellow-spotted black butterfly. Both side of front wing has broad irregular yellow band, broken into large irregular spots and patches.

Habitat:

It is very much comfortable in villeges and towns as well as forests. They are arboreal in nature. They are pure vegetarians, they eat wildfruits, flowers, buds, shoots and leaves.
