Description:

Upper side twany orange with prominant eyespots on both wings, very large unmistakable eyespot on hind wing and two smaller eyespots on front wings. Three narrow black lines on upper side of both wings.

Habitat:

Often seen around freshwater marshes. Sailing or swift flight close to ground. Fond of flowers.
