Javelina (aka Collared Peccary)

Description:

Though these in southern Arizona are called Collared Peccary the locals still call them Javelina. Native, and not to be confused with Feral Pigs. Black, gray and brown short but stiff hair.

Habitat:

Can be adaptable to different habitats. Can also be a nuisance by getting to gardens and landscapes.
