Katydid

Description:

Orange and tan in color, with blue eyes.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest. In this case, between the leaves of a bromeliad, near the central tank.

Notes:

I picked up the habit of looking in ever bromeliad that was at eye level or lower, and more often than not, it was a good decision. In this particular bromeliad, there was this katydid. It jumped on my boot and then proceeded to climb up my body, which gave me some interesting photos.
