Caloenas nicobarica
The Nicobar Pigeon, Caloenas nicobarica, is a pigeon found on small islands and in coastal regions from the Nicobar Islands, east through the Malay Archipelago, to the Solomons and Palau. It is the only living member of the genus Caloenas. Here spotted in Burgers Zoo Arnhem, Netherlands

@AshishNimkar Oh yes, we feel so superior as human beings, but in reality many animals are far better when it comes to the senses. They see, hear, feel or smell much better than we do ...
Most creatures had good sight, locate us with our small movement.
@Tanya, Yes, I know what you mean. It's so often that I realize a bird or animal watches me as close as I watch them.
What great pictures would they take would they have a camera!
i like pigeons a lot, like to observe them, especially couples.
so what i wanted to say is that on your second pic of that beauty it looks like the pigeon is observing you :)
sometimes we are the spotting object :)))
