Rudbeckia laciniata
Also called: green-headed coneflower. Height: 5 ft. Each plant grows 20 to 50 large composite flower heads with drooping yellow petals surrounding a cone-shaped green center.
Spotted near a meadow along the trail north of the Chippewa Picnic Area on Hwy 26.

Hi Tamarac Connie, your first picture is not displaying, you can use the "edit this spotting" link to either removed or replace the picture which is not displaying.
If you have problems with doing this you can contact the Ranger team via the "support chat" for help.
You also have the same problem on another spotting, I will comment on that also.
Please also note from our FAQs http://www.projectnoah.org/faq that the habitat field should state the actual habitat where you made the spotting and not generalised habitat information. This will enable us to track changes in habitat which may occur due to human interference or natural evolution.
