The Cottonwood fluff that is so annoying to allergy sufferers in our area is the way these trees disperse their seeds on the wind. The flower is actually quite pretty before it ripens into seeds and blows away.

Yes, Marta, the bird already has its own spotting. It is a Bullock's Oriole under my other spotting for that bird. thanks!
