This Caterpillar has an off-white body with a brownish splotchy face and slightly less so on the body. When I tried to move it from the dirt road it wrapped itself around the pine needle as if it was fighting it. The when I placed it on the dirt it lay still playing dead. It was about 6 cm long and 7 mm in diameter. The legs are located more in the front, middle and tail.
