Buddleia davidii

Description:

A popular garden shrub that is originally native to China and Japan, but now widespread in both Europe and the US (where it is considered an invasive species). Large shrub with lanceolate foliage. The flowers grow in pointy clusters similar to lilacs and are purple with four petals and an orange center. Highly attractive to butterflies, which is why it is also called butterfly bush.
