Description:

Used to be Plethodon glutinosus, northern slimy salamander. P. glutinosus was recently split into 10 separate species.

Habitat:

Under decayed log about 1 meter from a stream at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield, GA

Notes:

There were at least 7 other Chat. slimy salamanders under the log where I found this one.
