Otidea bufonia or Peziza domiciliana
Could be Peziza or Otidea. The fungus looks like Pezizomycete. Infor for Otidea: Cup 1–7cm across, cup-shaped and split at one side, becoming irregularly wavy, inner surface dark brown, outer slightly paler and minutely downy. Flesh thin, brown. Rare. Not edible.
Habitat roadsides, woodland. Season late summer to early autumn. Found In Europe.
I have checked both and they both look alike the fungus of my spotting... Is hard to say, so I add both species as a possibility. At least both belong to Pezizomycetes :-)
Looks a lot like our Peziza domiciliana that can show up on waterlogged carpeting or floorboards indoors.
