Otidea bufonia or Peziza domiciliana

Description:

Could be Peziza or Otidea. The fungus looks like Pezizomycete. Infor for Otidea: Cup 1–7cm across, cup-shaped and split at one side, becoming irregularly wavy, inner surface dark brown, outer slightly paler and minutely downy. Flesh thin, brown. Rare. Not edible.

Habitat:

Habitat roadsides, woodland. Season late summer to early autumn. Found In Europe.

I have checked both and they both look alike the fungus of my spotting... Is hard to say, so I add both species as a possibility. At least both belong to Pezizomycetes :-)

Looks a lot like our Peziza domiciliana that can show up on waterlogged carpeting or floorboards indoors.
