I think this Snouted Tiger Moth (Noctuidae: Aganainae) is drying its wings. Length approx. 3.5 cm (1.4 inches).

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

I think it's quite unusual for a moth to have its wings in this position (please correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway, it gives us the chance to see just how cute, colourful and cuddly a moth's body can be! :-) (See 2nd photo.)

Yes, this is one of those moths which, on a closer look, seems so much like a cuddly toy! And I loved the blue-ish eyes, the silver antenna and the tongue matching the back! :-)
