Is distinguished immediately by the zebra-like pattern, which gives the common name "zebra".
Commonly occurs from sea level to 1,200 m, in relation to second-growth habitat, it is rarely found in primary forests. Prevalent along the edges of forests and old secondary growth areas, visiting flowers of Lantana, and Stachytarpheta Hamelia.
