Scarce Swallowtail Butterfly

Description:

I am not sure which subspecies of Swallow Tail this one belongs too? It had obviously been in the wars as part of its lovely tail was missing. We get quite a lot of these in our garden, but they don't normally rest for long but this one did, possibly because of its tail.
