ooo i was way off...bummer.

Recently spent some time on Catalina Island and we had a swell shark in the touch tank at the lab and it sort of resembled this...The coloration is keeping me from saying it's definitely a swell shark but the patterns of Swell sharks and leopard sharks can be sort of similar...

Btw I'm no shark expert, just a hunch.
