Description:

Very shy, adult, yellow and black Froghopper (Aka Spittlebug). "There are only 2 species with 12 pronotal wrinkles across the midline; this one feeds on Acacia and has a dark band across the base of the scutellum. The other (C. lawsoni) feeds on grape and has a pale scutellum." - Andy Hamilton

Acacia melanoxylon tree in backyard
