Description:

A very pretty wading bird, foraging on the edge of a waterway in Tortuguero. The Grey-necked Wood Rail (Aramides cajaneus) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family.

Habitat:

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, and swamps.
