Archilochus alexandri
Slightly larger than a Ruby Throat. Dull metallic green back with a greyish breast. Wing tips rounded and bill slightly curved. Tends to pump its tail as it hovers. This frequent visitor is slowly getting his dark throat feathers that will reflect violet.
