ponds
I think the light colored individuals are nymphs of the adults. I spotted a lot of these backswimmers in the small pond in front of the Floral Showhouse along the parkway. I brought a few home to photograph. I had them in a plate of shallow water and was very surprised when after a few photos they just flew away. They sometimes fly to other suitable habitats.
