Green Hairy Crab Spider

Heriaeus sp.

Description:

One of the best camouflaged crab spiders I have ever seen! It apparently lives in these Rosa canina flowers and mimics the color of the sepals underneath, including the hair structures like in the plant. Thumbs up for mimicry! H. hirtus or graminicola?

Habitat:

Forest & grasslands near Zadar, Croatia.
