Radulomyces copelandii
This Asian fungi was discovered in the northeast US for the first time by my mycologist friend, Larry Millman. It may be more widespread in North America, but Larry believes the reason it has not been found by others is that it occurs in winter when not many people are looking for fungi.

Dan, I'm not sure why it has this common name. The paper I linked refers to it at an Asian Beauty, so that's what I went with.
