This Mottled Emigrant came to rest on a Penta leaf as I was resting on a bench. So many people rush through the exhibit; they miss so many of the butterflies! I suspect one child of being outpatient from the nearby hospital. How wonderful to see such beauty as a side trip! Spotted in captivity; see notes.
Migratory; variable habitat.
