Boletus aereus

Description:

Boletus aereus has a 6-25 cm wide cap, dark grey to black and in juvenile state the texture is soft-leathery. Stem is fading from pale tan to marone-brown (ground to cap).

Habitat:

Southern and central Europe and southern parts of North America. Beech and oak woods.

Notes:

Found it in northern Europe (northern Germany) - so it's a kinda rare spotting.
