Habitat:

Near lakes and other water sources that are artificially created due to the rains.

The grey heron seems to be better adapted to cold than any other heron species, but it is equally successful in the subtropics and tropics, where it readily breeds in mixed species heronries.

Thanks Pulkit and William. William there was a pair in the fourth pic and the male flew off because of the red wattled lapwings, what remained was the female and a couple of lapwings. Breeding time arriving soon. For many others like moorehens and lapwings it was breeding time already.

is that a pair male n' female in the forth pic ~ must be breeding time again? Nice work, thank you.
