Peltigera aphthosa
Leaf lichen. 5cm wide. Grey when dry, green when wetted. Black warts on surface.
Moss, humus, decaying logs, rocks. Forested areas.
These organisms can extract nitrogen from the air. Caribou forage for this lichen in winter. This lichen can be boiled to make a wash for treating chapped skin on adults' feet and babies' bottoms.

That's great...I don't think we have anyone that focuses on Medicinal plants...you will be a great addition.
Thanks, I hike and look for rare and medicinal plants daily, I just recently added project Noah and it's perfect app for me and my lifestyle.
