Sarcoramphus papa
Height: 85cm Wingspan: about 2m Weight: 3 to 5 kg Is the second larger vulture in South America. Condor is the larger.
Found in all Brazilian habitats. In Minas Gerais is found mainly in mountainous areas.
The bird perched presents caracteristic immature plumage for this species. The bird was located next to a waterfall and allowed me a great approximation.
