Description:

Eyes on left side, speckled/mottled coloration, relatively short pectoral fins (does not reach the eyes), small size (to 17 cm max published length)

Habitat:

Sandy/silty bottoms near shore (to <15 m/50 feet)

Notes:

Caught while bottom fishing from shore. Common to abundant in the area.
