A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Pyracantha sp.
A spindly, thorny Pyracantha bush, ~4-5' tall, with overripe red berries. Photo 2 of 3 was annotated to highlight the thorns (~1" long); Photo 3 of 3 is the original photograph. This spotting is a follow-up to a thread of comments on my last post: "Pyracantha (thorn-less)" http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/754...
Landscape planting in Hollin Hills, a residential community located in Fairfax County, Virginia USA.

Very nice! And the oranger berries are what I'm more used to seeing as well.
