Also ,picture number 4 has a female mallard following this duck. That explains for the existence of natural hybrids between the two species?

@ Ceherzog,Cayuga i believe is a cross between Mallard and Black Duck.

Well, now that I see the pic I can see that it's not a coot. Never heard of a Cayuga duck. Just looked it up...a domesticated duck bred from a Black duck. Maybe you have a Black Duck or a dark looking Mallard...there are also natural hybrids between Black & Mallards. If you could see the speculum you might get a more exact ID.The colors may just be tricky lighting.
Maybe there are some duck experts out there?

neck looks like cormorant,bill looks like duck,feet look large like coot!!
