Sure is strange looking. Females of the species can depart pretty dramatically from the "normal" appearance of the species. Not at all like the Gray Hairstreaks that occur in the Midwest U.S. (And I wouldn't expect it to be) Around here I would mistake it for a White M Hairstreak (Parrhasius m-album).

It's some species of hairstreak (Theclinae) in the Lycenidae family if that helps!
