Duttaphrynus melanostictus

Description:

This is a terrestrial,Carnivorous toad,feeding on worms,insects & snails etc. Skin is rough,dry & warty on the dorsal surface of the body. Eyes are large & nostrils are very small. Teeth are entirely absent!Tympanum is very well developed.

The scientific name was changed as it is not in use now.The correct scientific name is Duttaphrynus melanostictus,Thanks for the correct scientific name AshleyT.

The correct scientific name is Duttaphrynus melanostictus, the Genus got changed from Bufo many years ago. Please correct this, thanks.
