Amanita citrina
It bears a pale yellow or sometimes white cap, with white stem, ring and volva. Though it is not highly poisonous, its similarity to the lethal death cap (Amanita phalloides) precludes its use in cooking.
The false death cap is found in deciduous and coniferous woodlands in Autumn in Europe. It grows in silicate soil in the summer and autumn months.

Not deadly like the true death cap, but it has been researched and found to contain toxins similar to it, albeit in VERY small amounts. It'd only be a danger if a couple of pounds were to be eaten. :)
