Thanks, and thanks for the book recommendation! I'm slowly reading a book called Avian Architecture by Goodfellow about how birds make their varied kinds of nests.

Ava, this rotary jail is in Crawfordsville, Indiana. There are 16 wedge-shaped cells, in 2 tiers, enclosed in a stationary cage. There is one door on each tier and cell block is rotated to an individual cell to allow a prisoner to move in or out of a cell and only one guard was needed to watch the prisoners. This was the Montgomery county jail until 1973. http://www.rotaryjailmuseum.org/
