Meadow in the Poconos

All summer I saw them, mating mostly, under 1 inch. This one was a bit bigger 1 1/4 inches. So surprised because the night get down to upper 20 degrees. It was real hungry! Cool to watch it eat.

So active, so beautiful and patient for me to take a photo. Always posing. But I think actually, it was too busy eating. I never saw such an eating frenzy. HA! It is a beautiful moth!
