Description:

There are 35 species of Sparrow worldwide in which10 species occur in Pakistan.The Sind Sparrow is one of its species and also known as the Sind Jungle Sparrow, Jungle Sparrow, or Rufous-backed Sparrow, is a passerine bird of the sparrow family Passeridae. It is patchily distributed around the Indus valley region of Pakistan and adjoining parts of India.

Habitat:

Its habitat is usually tall grass and thorn scrub near water.
