Juvenile white-tailed eagle

Haliaeetus albicilla

Description:

The white-tailed eagle is the largest raptor in Europe with a wingspan reaching up to 2.44 meters. The one in the picture is a juvenile, recognised by the brown talons. I saw this individual several days as it was hanging around the dock where the fishing boats arrived.

Notes:

In the fourth picture you can see this young eagle being chased by crows.
