Description:

Small smooth-shelled periwinkles about 1 cm long clustered together in rocky hollows. The shells were mostly a pale grey with brown apices.

Habitat:

Tidal zone at Port Phillip bay. Spotted on rocks at the high tide mark.

Notes:

They feed primarily on lichens moistened by sea spray.
