An unidentified, brilliant rainforest flower and fruiting structure.

Habitat:

Growing in coastal mixed lowland equatorial rainforest (freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp).

Notes:

March 2013. A local informant identified this plant (specifically the fruit) as "buah sereh hutan".
