Proclaimed as the fastest lizard in the world, this iguana is known as a wish-willyin the Belize area. The lizard was approximately 3 feet long, a drab yellow with black tail and spines on its tail. It is very fast.
The iguana likes plenty of crevices to hide in, rocks to bask on, and nearby trees to climb.
The Guinness Book of World Records lists the running speed of this species at 21.7 mph or 34.9 km/h making it the world's fastest lizard.
