Asian Elephant

Elephas maximus

Description:

Big, friendly elephants with grey-colored hides and many a small, black hair growing all over their heads.

Habitat:

The hills of Northeast Thailand, north of Chiang Mai along the Mae Ping River.

Notes:

These elephants are unfortunately in captivity. Also, they very much like sugarcane.
