Wandering Tattler

Heteroscelus incanus

Habitat:

Some Wandering Tattlers spend the summer in Hawaii but most of them arrive in Hawaii in August and leave for the Alaskan breeding grounds in April or May.

Notes:

The immature Black-crowned Night-heron never paid any attention to the Wandering Tattler poking around beside him.
