Yellow-tufted Honeyeater

Description:

Also known as yellow whiskers, golden-tufted honeyeater and other names. One of four different races. Colour varies between males and females, location and race but generally consists of light grey belly feathers, olive/grey wings and back, love/yellow cap, black band from beak through eye area and back of head/neck, bright yellow throat, yellow tuft behind ear.

Habitat:

Found in eastern states, eucalypt forests and woodlands, frequent visitor to gardens and follows flowering nectar producing trees.
