Description:

Also known as chickowee, native canary and greenie. Adults about 16.5cm, male and female similar, upperparts light grey/brown with pale yellow/olive overtone, blended yellow face with black beak, black tick lined with white tuft, underparts off-white with yellow overtone. Eyes dark.

Habitat:

Forest and woodlands in, near water, frequent visitor to gardens. Found throughout much of Australia from coast to coast across inland regions.
