Donacia sp
Probably Donacia vulgaris, common leaf beetle of Europe; with aquatic larvae. Some 15mm or less in length, bronzy colored.
Here, seen on leaves of Yellow Water-lily growing in waters of a small lake Lamoura - the highest altitude lake in Jura Mountain range, at 1156m. The lake is in the valley of Jura mountain range; and is surrounded by a coniferous forest, and the majority of it is occupied by grassland, while some of the lake shores are peat-bogs. The site of Lamoura Lake has been designated as a Natura 2000 area, in order to protect this fragile peat-bog ecosystem.
An uninvited but welcomed guest on a photos of water-lilies; I noticed this beetle only when I started working on my pics on computer... And thanks to Paul Davis for helping out with the ID...

probably Donacia crassipes, because on Nuphar (and longer legs than vulgaris)
Thanks Paul
Possibly Donacia sp , maybe D.vulgaris.
