Description:

Also known as Brindled Gnu or Common wildebeest, this member of Bovidae family and antelopes group, have a heavy set and muscular, broad-shouldered and easily recognized appearance. It has a light grey mantle with some dark, blackish stripes on shoulders; and black muzzle.

Habitat:

Savanna of East and Southern Africa, here in Kenya, Naivasha.

Notes:

Well known for huge migrations between Serengeti planes and Masai Mara, together with zebras.
